The Tway family has been involved in wire rope sales and service since the 1930's when Joe Tway sold for the Macwhyte Wire Rope Company.                                                   

Unlike other shops in the state, we specialize in heavy lifting and rigging equipment. We are  a full service rigging loft, We stock slings and weld chains. We also refurbish crane blocks.

 You won't find light bulbs, office supplies or nuts and bolts here. No power tools, No automotive and No lumber! Just big beefy lifting chain, wire rope and slings for heavy  construction and industrial manufacturing. We service what we sell and some things we didn't. We pride ourselves on SERVICE SECOND TO NONE and have for over 62 years.

We are among a select group of distributors in the United States that are trusted by the chain companies to perform welding of new and reconditioned alloy steel chains. To facilitate this achievement The Peerless Chain Company has made significant equipment investments in our Indianapolis operation. This partnership with Peerless Chain allows The Tway Company to best serve our construction and industrial customers  located in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and the Southeast.

With inventory on hand and testing equipment in house we service most chain types from 9/32" through 1" the same day if required.
